I was walking by an office in the Central Business District of Sydney, Australia when these lights caught my eye. I went in and asked the Security Guard if it was OK that I photographed them. He was rather surprised by the request, but gave me permission.
I guess the people who work there had gotten used to their presence, but I found them dazzling.
I thought they were wonderful and looked like giant snowballs.
This is a close-up of the lights’ structure. I’m still not sure what they are made from, but I can’t help thinking that giant paperclips may have been involved somewhere.
