Traffic Jam

One of the joys of travelling New Zealand is the fact that you can drive for hours without seeing another person. So it was unusual for us to find ourselves stuck in a traffic jam one bright, sunny afternoon.

And even more surprising to reach the head of the queue to be met with this revelation for the delay. It made me chuckle, though.

  1. This is great! My traffic jam last week were the wild turkeys crossing the road. About a dozen of them crossed to the other side of the road. Then at the last minute, they turned right around and crossed back, leaving one behind. So we all waited just one moment to see if it would decide to cross with the rest. It was a long moment and the cars were lining up. (three behind me). I’m on a rural road so three is a big deal. It never crossed, and we all carefully sped away. Have a great week!
