Weekly Photo Challenge: Grand

Remarkable View

This week, we have been challenged to present a photo that shows “that magical quality you’re always out looking for and so excited to capture with your camera”.

And I wanted to share one of my very favourite photographs that I took during my time travelling New Zealand.

In Queenstown, we took the Skyline Gondola up to the top of Bob’s Peak in order to enjoy the astounding views out over The Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu.

This shot was taken from inside the restaurant looking out over the viewing platform. I cannot begin to tell you the joy it brings me whenever I view it. It was taken with my first digital camera on a trip to my all-time destination. There is a lot of sentimental attachment, but I would really like to hear any criticisms/advice you may have on how to improve similar shots in future.
You can see how other bloggers responded to the challenge at The Daily Post.

Then YOU Said...
