Unexpected Interactions
There is a delight in observing how people interact with their environment that has had me enjoying the act of ‘people watching’ for years.
Now that I am learning the art of photography, I find myself trying to capture such moments with the lens; seeing if I can translate them to film.
So I was delighted to stumble across this little scene whilst rolling through Horniman Museum. I had to get Dad to stop the wheelchair suddenly and then quickly roll myself into position to take the shot.
The mother and her children were just sitting and resting from their own explorations and it made me smile to see the guy in the tribe photos watching them from his place up on the wall.
Two different worlds overlapping in one small space: a lovely example of how sometimes, the environment interacts its people.
