Slice of the Good Life
At a hotel in Greece, I was fascinated by the glass elevator and the little glimpses of the grounds that could be seen between the wooden slats at the back of it whilst the lift was in motion.
So much so, that I had a go at taking some shots whilst balanced haphazardly on my crutches.
This photo was the result. I only toppled over a couple of times, but didn’t face-plant on the lift floor (small mercies, eh?). And Wifey was very patient with my insistence on trying to capture the image I saw in my head.
This was near the beginning of my illness – before the fuckerty really kicked in with a vengeance; and so the image reminds me of our last holiday and gives me hope that we will be able to go away again someday.
